2006 UDIA Urban Renewal Award

Awarded to the development which showcases its ability to create a sustainable community within an urban fabric and promote livability in areas where industry previously dominated.

Living up to the potential noted at the 2005 UDIA awards with the project winning the Judges award, The Village now a year older demonstrates its ability to provide a safe and vibrant community to its residents amidst existing shops, school and railway infrastructure where previously there was an industrial timber yard. Its development not only provides amenity for the new residents to the area but also improves the Westall area for local residents and business owners alike.
